ZWICK/ROELL

UNIVERSAL TESTING MACHINE FOR STATIC APPLICATIONS

zwickiLine

  • Zwicki-Line is a single column testing machine for tensile, compression and cyclic testing up to 5kN (1125 lbf) and its portable, space-saving design ensures good test space access.

  • The zwicki-Line testing machine has been particularly designed for applications in the range of mechanical tests with low loads. It is used for tensile, compression and flexure tests. Especially suitable is the zwicki for production control, for control of the goods received, for demonstration- and training purposes at schools and it is also a reliable for quality assurance testing.

  • The zwicki-Line testing machine is concipated for quasi-static loading with increasing, pulsating or cyclic tests through an electro-mechanical drive system.

  • The zwicki´s low weight and the space-saving area allows the modular system to easily find a place on any laboratory table.

ProLine

  • The twin-column ProLine testing machine is specially designed for function-testing components and for routine materials testing.

  • Available exclusively from Zwick Roell, the new high-accuracy Xforce load cells are used for all our load frame ranges. Their axial/rotational symmetry design ensures high insensitivity to transverse loads.

  • The data acquisition rate of testControl measurement and control electronics is 320 kHz.

  • The intelligent sensor system automatically recognizes all sensors and reads their settings.

  • ProLine is available with test speeds from 0.0005 to 1000 mm/min, depending on model; testing machine speed is independent of test load. The type of control can be set to position, force or strain as required.

  • ProLine is available for test loads up to 100 kN and with test area heights from 1050 mm to 1370 mm.

  • ProLine can be used with standard PCs or laptops and requires no special add-on card. The Stand-Alone option allows ProLine to be operated without a PC.

  • All testXpert® and testXpert® II test programs can be used for ProLine.

Allround Line

  • The perfect system for your individual testing requirements and for all applications (5kN to 250kN)

  • The Allround-Line by Zwick is setting new standards in materials testing, developed entirely in-house, with production and assembly taking place exclusively at Zwick’s plant in Ulm. Allround-Line testing machines are available with a force range starting from 5 kN and, depending on requirements and force range, in flatbed or column configuration.

  • The new Allround-Line is suitable for applications from all fields. A proven operating concept combined with flexible, modular load-frame design guarantees an optimum solution for demanding testing applications. It is equally ideal for quality-control testing and for demanding research projects.

Model H

  • These hydraulic materials testing machines have a single, central hydraulic drive.

  • Available in 400, 600, 1200, 1600 and 2000 kN (40 - 200 tonnes) versions.

  • Optionally available with an adjustable top crosshead, allowing the test area to be adjusted to customers’ requirements.

  • High-resolution, channel-synchronized measurement technology provides extremely precise, accurate determination of material characteristic values. No range-switching is necessary as load signal resolution is available over the whole range.

  • Extremely stiff, robust load frame.

  • Wide measuring range allows even small test loads to be determined accurately without re-tooling.

  • Standard tests using Zwick testXpert® software require only single-button operation.

  • Modular design throughout the system allows the entire Zwick accessory range to be used, including a wide variety of extensometers, specimen grips and other test tools.

  • Should new test requirements arise, additional test tools (e.g. calibration blocks) can very easily be installed by means of a T-slot or screw system.

  • Can be tailored to customers’ specific requirements (e.g. test devices, specimen grips, test speed ranges, testing software).

Model E

  • These electro-mechanical materials testing machines are fitted with a ball lead screw drive.

  • Available in 300, 400, 600, 1200 and 2000 kN (30 - 200 tonnes) versions.

  • Wide measuring range allows precise determination of even small test loads without re-tooling.

  • Long travel combined with comparatively low build-height provides trouble-free specimen clamping and user-friendly testing over a wide range of specimen lengths.

  • Low-maintenance, pre-stressed ball lead screws ensure accurate, long-term tensile and compression testing, backed by a robust, extremely stiff load frame.

  • Standard tests using Zwick testXpert® software require only single-button operation.

  • Modular design throughout the system allows the entire Zwick accessory range to be used, including a wide variety of extensometers, specimen grips and other test tools.

  • Should new test requirements arise, additional test tools (e.g. calibration blocks) are easily installed via a T-slot or screw system.

  • Can be tailored to customers’ specific requirements (e.g. test area dimensions, test devices, specimen grips, test speed ranges, testing software).

Model Y

  • These materials testing machines are fitted with a patented hybrid drive and two hydraulic working cylinders, on each side of the test area.

  • Available in 600, 1200, 1600 and 2000 kN (60 - 200 tonnes) versions.

  • High-resolution, channel-synchronized measurement technology provides extremely precise, accurate determination of material characteristic values. No range-switching is necessary as load signal resolution is available over the whole range.

  • Patented Zwick hybrid drive for large test loads covers the widest possible specimen range.

  • Hybrid drive combines the advantages of hydraulic load application (simple load generation, robust, low wear) with mechanical precision (high positional accuracy of  ±1 µm under load).

  • Hybrid drive concept separates load generation from drive control, allowing test conditions to be reproduced with a very high degree of accuracy.

  • Wide measuring range allows precise determination of even small test loads without re-tooling.

  • Long travel combined with comparatively low build-height ensures trouble-free specimen clamping and convenient testing over a wide range of specimen lengths.
